About Debbie Bray

I have 20 years of qualitative research & creative development experience built up working for some fantastic media consultancies.I absolutely love what I do and feel its important to keep hold of that passion for all projects carried out regardless of how deadline driven they are or whether the project has a large or tiny budget. My key skills are; • Research and creative development in media as well as FMCG. I have worked on a number of very successful media brands from the development stage right through to launch. In the last ten years I have also researched and developed a number of pilot, recommissioned, and continuing TV shows for both adults as well as kids and youth shows.• The ability to engage with highly effectively with all audiences (with an incredibly in-depth knowledge of kids and youth audiences) to truly understand the consumer and use the insights creatively, strategically and commercially to deliver results.• Real understanding and ability to research all elements of a brand; online, print, mobile etc to deliver cross-platform solutions and ideas.• Up to date and in-depth knowledge of UK and EMEA media markets• Wealth of experience in marketing, advertising & communications research.• Pioneering new research techniques and approaches, particularly digital methods to engage younger audiences.• The ability to work, at a very senior level, on all elements of a project including; project management; presentation writing and presenting, creative development, idea generation, consultancy and qualitative research.In addition to my research & development experience, I am also a fully qualified teacher (Cert Ed in Teaching in the Learning Sector) and trained counsellor (humanistic). These skills and experience have enormous cross over, particularly for moderation and engaging kids and younger audiences in research.

Some of my most memorable and successful work here was working on the research, development and launch of Look magazine and Pick Me Up (both IPC Media titles).
