As part of SEARCHLight, a group of retired professionals, we partnered with United Housing Connections to raise money to build 36 housing units for the chronically homeless who have a disability. Construction on the units began in early 2023. I served as an Advisory Team Member and Committee Chair with The SEARCHlight Initiative in our partnership with United Housing Connections.My role included organizing Hospitality for fundraising events; speaking with donors; and working on operational studies of current housing for the chronically homeless.During my "earning" years, I was a real estate investor/wholesaler,/rehabber; a published author, a former career coach, and licensed therapist.Served in the past on the Board of Directors as President for the Upstate Carolina Real Estate Investor Association in Greenville, SC. Created a very popular Women Investor Focus Group there in 2007 that is still active and thriving.Past Specialties: Analyzing investment properties (residential); negotiation with sellers; structuring real estate offers; facilitating groups; published author; networking/communication.
