As a Supervisor of policies and procedures at Canadian Red Cross, I lead and support the development and implementation of effective and efficient policies and procedures for the organization's humanitarian programs and operations. I have over 3 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, working in different roles and capacities at Canadian Red Cross, such as Site Supervisor and Analyst.I hold a Master of Arts in International Humanitarian Action from the University of Groningen, where I gained a comprehensive understanding of the principles, practices, and challenges of humanitarian action in various contexts and regions. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Human Rights from Concordia University, where I developed a keen interest in the issues of gender and peace process, which I further explored during a research semester at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia.
