The Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (Harvard C-CHANGE) translates innovative research from faculty and students across the School of Public Health to inform actions that improve public health today and create a more just, sustainable, and healthy future for all. Led by former U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy and co-director Dr. Aaron Bernstein, C-CHANGE equip changemakers with the evidence and tools they need to act now to protect our health.*Achievements*Healthy Buildings Projects – Schools for Health • Discovered and solved lack of standardization in school reconstruction/renovation records by formulating method to track student population movement within MA school systems.• Analyzed correlation between test scores, school building certifications, health, and SES determinants.• Pitched to the team and stimulated the creation of a web-based application to be used by school administrators to promote health through school buildings.• Co-authored two academic papers on green schools’ impact on student cognitive health and performance.Healthy Buildings Projects - Firehouses for Health• Conducted sample collection and building inspection at 10+ MA fire stations.Healthy Buildings Projects - Homes for Health• Wrote and published article on CO poisoning prevention at homes.

University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is a groundbreaking health sciences university based in Rwanda that provides unique interdisciplinary and integrative academic programs to train global health professionals and leaders to deliver equitable, high-quality health services for all. As an intern for the Teaching and Learning team, I facilitate and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of key courses in the 2-year long Master in Global Health Delivery (MGHD) program as well as the new 6-year long Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery programs. *Achievements*• Initiated and developed a plagiarism assessment tool to assess students’ plagiarism knowledge and perception, which will be implemented across universities in Rwanda.• Authored literature review for its emerging sign language program, Mbwira Ndumva (“tell me, and I will understand”).• Planned 1st annual commencement ceremony in rural Butaro for MGHD (Masters in Global Health Delivery) class of 2019.• Developed and created student policy documents for first class of medical school students.

• Organized the 14th, 15th, and 16th student-run, week-long academic & cultural-exchange conferences for 100+ foreign delegates from 9 top universities in Asia and 100+ Harvard students.• Directed the appointed leaders of each university delegation during the conference.• Supervised 20+ visa application process, 200+ flight booking, and all other communications with foreign universities.• Organize 100+ hosting pairs and arranged all airport pick-ups for 100+ international delegates in the middle of a snowstorm• Cultivated new perspectives on global health challenges, leadership, and education in the 21st Century at the reciprocate conferences in Taiwan, Dubai and Singapore.

• Wrote policy proposal for the diversion of the mentally ill from MA prison/ jail systems to treatment facilities.• Stimulated the implementation of the diversion program in Middlesex County, MA, aimed to alleviate detrimental effects of prison/ jail systems on the incarcerated with mental illnesses.
