Person Centered Care.• Training and guiding the care staff in constructive activities in order to ensure that there is an awareness of involving residents in activities at all times.• Planning and carrying out activities for both individuals and groups and updating care plans of residents to reflect where they have chosen to take part in activities.• Organising themed events and fund-raising events, as well as outings.• Arranging for a range of outside bodies and individuals to visit the Home in order to provide entertainment, stimulation and therapeutic input. • Managing activities within a monthly budget and reporting on this activity.• Assisting in welcoming new residents to the Home.• Promote the home within the local community and ensure that members of the community are aware of the positive and therapeutic aspects of the activities being provided.
