HR Director for the world's first global musical instrument museum located in Phoenix, Arizona. Reporting to the President/Executive Director and was part of the Senior Leadership Team, acting as a strategic partner and subject matter expert. Responsibilities included setting up policies/procedures, on-boarding, recruitment, training, benefits, change management, compensation and employee relations for a start-up museum that opened in April 2010.

Pacific Coast Building Products acquired one of the Clopay divisions (my former company). I was fortunate enough to be offered a contract position with Pacific in December 2008. I was hired to assist in creating an updated performance management program and conduct management training on effective performance appraisals.

HR Director for multi-state corporation (approx 800 employees, 250k annual sales), reporting to the President. Responsibilities included all HR functions including management training, recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Position supervised 3-5 direct reports with several dotted-line reports. Tenure at Clopay included extensive change management including several acquisitions.Clopay Service Company was closed (divisions were sold or closed by parent company in 2008). Clopay Service Corporation was a subcontractor to residential homebuilders, installing garage doors, cabinets, flooring, and fireplaces.
