Develop and implement proactive recruitment methods consistent with assigned areas business strategies, resulting in quick turn around in filling open positions with qualified candidates. Screen and schedule qualified applicants for employment consideration. Assess applicants’ abilities and qualities providing feedback and offering hiring recommendation to line supervisor. Advise associates and management in proper employment procedures and bank policies, ensuring the banks interests are protected and employee relations’ issues are minimized. Partner with line management, consulting on effective people processes and systems that drive business results. Assist in creating and implementing yearly Human Resource business plan and strategies, ensuring Human Resource objectives align with strategic corporate imperatives. Build strong relationships with line managers in assigned areas. Partner with Human Resource diversity team to monitor affirmative action goals and develop effective strategy for recruitment and development of minority candidates. Responsible for achievement of affirmative actions goals in assigned area. Train line management on Human Resource systems, processes, tools and regulations, increasing their awareness in recruitment, employee relations and compensation.
