Debbie Hurst has over 30 years of experience in the realm of nonprofit management, and is currently President of the Women’s Business Council - Southwest (WBCS). She is passionate about advancing and enhancing business opportunities between women-owned businesses and corporations. Under her leadership as a fascilitater and promoter, the Council has grown to over 1000 Women Business Enterprises (WBE) and Corporate members, and was named the Partner Organization of the Year in 2006 by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).The Women's Business Council - Southwest (WBCS) is a non-profit organization that provides national certification for women business owners. The WBCS serves a four-state region including the northern half of Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Our mission statement is: Grow Certified Women-Owned Businesses. We provide educational, procurement and networking opportunities to our members.
