While with The Collingwood Group, I worked on numerous projects with non-profit, affordable housing organizations including NAHRO, CLPHA, and Purple Heart Homes, a veteran-owned organization that provides housing solutions for Service Connected Disabled and Aging Veterans, with which I remain engaged.

Friend and neighbor Ron Griffith created numerous recipes for unique sauces and mixes over decades before he was diagnosed with ALS. Ron passed away in November 2011. In January 2012, his wife Connie established Gator Ron's Zesty Sauces & Mixes and I joined her in May 2012, partnering with her to launch Gator Ron's and to manufacture and market his sauces and mixes in an effort to increase awareness of ALS and to raise money to help fund ALS research. Received Montgomery County, Maryland "2013 Start-Up Company of the Year" Award.
