This organization respectfully provides home furnishings to more than 4000 families every year, as well as workforce readiness and parenting programs to Washington’s neediest, mostly those transitioning from homeless shelters and fleeing from unsafe living situations. Everyone should have a place to call home.After living in the suburban D.C. Metro area for 30 years I chose Central Virginia as my new home. I’ve lived on a 500-acre cattle farm in Madison, spent a year in Sperryville and currently reside in Culpeper and have enjoyed getting to know the unique qualities Madison, Orange, Culpeper, Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties through my work with StreamSweepers.Country life is good!
