In 1994 I was elected as the President of the National Wildfire Suppression Association and was President of our own business XL Hotshots Inc. I held the position of President of the NWSA until 1998. At that time I became the Executive Director for the Association as we moved out of the actual fire business. I have been Executive Director of the NWSA since that time and my mission has been to create a professional brand for the association as well as building membership. In addition my duties include political advocate, working cooperative with the agencies to create a better contracting atmosphere and helping to promote the utilization of the of the Professional Private Fire Industry.Prior to my position as President of XL Hotshots, Inc. I worked as a Human Resource Specialist and Executive Administrative Assistant for Young & Morgan Inc. from 1988 to 1998. And prior to that my experience was as a Senior Claims Manager for SAIF Corporation and Liberty NW from 1973 to 1988.
