Successfully implemented four different EMR projects in a six week period with a cross-functional team across two organizations. We upgraded software versions, migrated databases from one organization to the other, and merged databases. It was an incredible orchestration of team work, planning, laser focus, and implementation. The EMR system was always up and available for our clinical teams when promised. Our executives were thrilled with our results in such a short period of time! As the IT PM, orchestrated 10 different project go lives in a three week period. Projects included an interface server OS upgrade, moved over 100 employees in 4 different office move projects, moved 150+ servers to a new data center, vacated the old data center, and implemented a new VOIP phone system in 4 clinics. Managed all IT Services provided to a dynamic, fast growing major cancer clinic across 14 different locations. Managed IT team and dozens of projects in a very fast-paced environment. Responsible for all infrastructure, projects, technical support, systems availability and service levels. Worked as the Senior Project Manager for various EMR upgrades, lots of office moves, data center migration to an offsite facility, and various other projects as requested.

Helped CIO improve IT process maturity and refocus 50 person IT team to a customer-centric technology delivery model to support offices throughout the globe. Significantly improved and managed production system change control process to be PCI compliant as well as converting from a paper process to a fully automated process. Implemented a comprehensive metrics model to track and report systems availability. Transformed IT Help Desk from paper-pencil-email to a structured process with Service Level agreements approved by executive management, a software tool to receive and manage the 800+ work requests, and a web portal for our customers to have complete visibility to status. We reported our SLA metrics weekly and improved our processes as warranted. Implemented the company’s first PMO using Microsoft Project Server 2007. Designed all business processes, administered the software, and delivered training to entire IT team on new software tools. As the IT PM, helped business implement new standardized global direct debit processor in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany that also helped to ensure SEPA compliance. All payment processes worked successfully on their scheduled go lives with no negative impact to company cash flow. Program Managed over 50 projects as we became PCI Level 1 compliant. Project Managed various projects, including new firewall implementation. Regularly engaged with all global sites to enhance customer relationships with IT.

Responsible for directing all facets of IT for Kele, Inc, a national distributor in the building automation industry. Managed IT infrastructure, help desk, application development, web development, business analysis, and all project management. Managed a major ERP enhancement project for the business. On the day of go live, order management and shipping delivered 100% of normal productivity! We exceeded all management expectations and surpassed all success criteria defined for the project. Helped drive major infrastructure improvements. If a perfect network gets a score of 100, we started in February at a 28. In early October, we had already attained a score of "63". Implemented hardware & software standards, expanded the data center, upgraded various hardware componenents and added many new processes including a new backup policy. Defined processes and made improvements so IT team could deliver 99.9+% systems availability and 98% help desk SLA's. Role was eliminated as part of company-wide layoff due to poor economy.

Managed all site IT services for a 1500 employee facility with 850+ PCs, 65 servers, and various ERP systems. Successfully managed infrastructure team to deliver 99.9555% Systems Availability on a 24x7 basis for all applications / servers under site control. Also lead IT team to meet SLA's for 98.35% for all tickets created by customers - averaged 435 tickets per week. Managed through explosive growth cycle where business tripled in size in 18 months - the demands on IT were unending. Successfully managed dozens of projects and system enhancements including a core switch upgrade, wireless infrastructure install in a 120,000 sq ft warehouse in 4 weeks, major server upgrades, and many, many ERP enhancements. IT team received high customer satisfaction scores as rated by customers after our implementations. Member of General Manager's Sr. Staff and Corporate IT team. Managed $3MM budget. Role was eliminated due to acquisition-related downsizing.

Responsible for providing IT Business Partnership support and services for a 550 employee manufacturing facility. Managed up to a 10 person team that provided application support for SAP 4.6 WM, IM, MM, PPDS, PPPI, PM, legacy Oracle systems, MES systems, data center, PC support, NT & Win2k servers, and local and wide area networks. Successfully delivered a 3 year supply chain project to implement RF and SAP WM in warehouse. Go live was a success! Typically managed 3-4 major systems projects per year and dozens of smaller ones. Member of Plant Manager's Sr. Staff and Corporate IT team. Member of many Enterprise IT teams. Managed $1MM budget. Role ended due to facility closure.

Managed IT staff for the direct mail division within Jostens serving college alumni. Managed project to implement new ERP system that replaced legacy order entry, customer service, inventory and warehouse management, shipping, A/R, and a general ledger interface to our corporate G/L system. System went live five months after initial project was approved and was very successful - Order Entry and shipping commenced the first day we went live without any major issues. Total implementation costs were under budget. Due to organizational changes during project, also inherited responsibility for management of our Materials and Customer Service departments. Role ended due to facility closure.

Managed two large data centers and data communications to five remote sites with staff of eight operating 24 hours a day, 5-7 days a week servicing over 275 users and providing all data center services. Responsible for managing a $1.4 million operating budget and the administration of many computer equipment leases and maintenance contracts. One major project involved conceptualizing, planning, and executing a strategy to consolidate two mid-range servers into a new one that was faster, smaller, and less expensive to operate. All systems were converted to full production in eleven days from equipment delivery date. After negotiating some creative lease refinancing, total annual operating costs were reduced by $100K .

Managed remote data center and provided software support and programming services in Memphis for company based; Company was a national video tape distributor and used an HP 3000-70 to manage the tape distribution and inventory. Core application was developed in Cobol, but was enhanced with Cognos' Powerhouse products - Quick, QTP, and Quiz. Responsible for servicing all system requests from the local management team and managing two computer operators.

Managed project to convert four different manufacturing site's Payroll and Accounts/Receivable systems from an IBM 3081 running OS/MVS/CICS to two HP 3000-70's. Software conversion was done in six months to ASK's Order Entry/Accounts Receivable (OMAR) and Payroll systems and involved continuous travel. Provided all user training. Cognos' Powerhouse tools, QDD, Quiz, and QTP, were used to satisfy management's customized system requirements. Received bonus upon successful project completion. Assigned responsibility for system management.

Provided consulting on the development of three different Materials Management Systems. Evaluated systems on data security and integrity, access controls, system documentation, data center security, backup procedures, and contingency planning. Also provided internal auditing services for two large manufacturing plants in Southeast Texas.
