I was introduced into the realm of the Exterior Building Envelope, New Construction, working remotely on a jobsite as an Assistant Project Manager. I soon found myself establishing and managing the Companywide Workplace Safety Protocols for 50-100+ workers. I was promoted to Project Manager and Safety Director within the first year. I quickly learned that Project Management can shift wildly, depending on the work at hand, and requires strong skills in communication, a deep knowledge of the building process, and the ability to problem-solve, and the support of a team. The AM Exteriors team was paramount in my realization and cultivation of these skillsets.
