Passenger Communications & Social Media – Editor of Southampton Airport’s e-newsletter (25,000 subscribers) and airport magazine (16,000 printed quarterly). I also established the airport’s twitter feed and gained over 6,000 loyal followers providing customer service updates, crisis communications and driving up website sales.Internal Communications – Editor of the monthly staff newsletter to 1,200 staff, creating management briefings, organising staff events such as briefings, conferences and awards ceremonies and I established a new ‘Sharepoint’ intranet system for staff, including training super users across the airport.Stakeholder Relations – Responsible for maintaining relationships to key stakeholders such as MP’s, local councils, business partners, airlines etc. This includes briefings, presentations, and conferences. I also managed public consultations on key planning issues. Event Management – Responsible for managing all airport events including; stakeholder conferences, business partner conferences, pre-season briefings, the airport Oscars and ad hoc events such as the Spitfire Anniversary, royal visits and the airport’s centenary.Charitable Giving – Responsible for establishing a new charitable panel with key community stakeholders (council chief executives).
