I provide behavioral science consulting services to firms and various international organizations. I specialize in designing experiments to test behavioral science principles for social impact. I am currently working on topics of water and sanitation, and health in Latin America.

At the IDB Behavioral Economics Group (in Research Department), I design and implement behaviorally informed RCTs in Latin America in partnership with regional governments. I've worked in Mexico, The Bahamas, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, and Paraguay on health, agriculture, water and sanitation, environment, and digital platforms/technology. Apply behavioral science and human-centered design to develop products, interventions, and programs to promote charitable giving and improve people's financial health.

Performed a comprehensive evaluation of IADB funded Nicaraguan Telecommunications Regional Training Center’s (CEABAD) activities with the objective of identifying opportunities to improve the Center's performance and effectiveness. Developed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the IADB and CEABAD to track improvements and measure profitability. The center is an important tool for government officials to learn about telecommunications policies used around the world and their impact. Also, the center has some political components, and by being in Central America, business operation and financial sustainability becomes challenging. I visited CEABAD in Nicaragua and opened an account to asses their team and facilities. Also, I visited a well known training center in Mexico city (INAP) and learned about their operations to have a better point of comparison of a similar training center. I became a user of both platforms and compared their online material and interface.

Conducted empirical research on El Paso and its correlation to several sub-sectors of the U.S. Industrial Production. Created weighted weighted industrial production index for El Paso.

Developed the Economic Freedom of the Mexican States Index for the Fraser Institute under the direction of Nathan Ashby, PhD. I was in charge of gathering data published and unpublished from various official sources. There was the need to call some government agencies and work with them in Spanish and get access to those data. The Index is composed of 4 areas: Size of Government; Takings and Discriminatory Taxation; Labor Market Freedom and Legal System and Property Rights. We presented the scores and rankings for the thirty-two Mexican states which were calculated for the years 2003 to 2009. The relationship between economic freedom and wages was discussed. There was a significant positive relationship between economic freedom and real wages in Mexico.
