I provided Communications & Marketing consultancy to a number of organisations, predominantly in the health & wellness sector. Aug 2019 - Feb 2022

Head Of Marketing

New Zealand

I was delighted to join a New Zealand-grown health and wellness business formulating plant-based products based on centuries of international herbal medicine wisdom, and with a forward-thinking, global outlook. Artemis is a company committed to the wellbeing of people and of the planet and the philosophy was a great fit with my personal mantra to alwaysdo more good than harm through my work. In a small business with big ambitions it was a pleasure to apply my industry and marketing experience in a challenging, always changing, remote working environment. What a year 2020 was for natural health products and retail - but in that time we rationalised and repackaged our entire range, secured range presence in Countdown Pharmacies and Chemist Warehouse, launched new products and built a new website. And that was just Sales & Marketing. Don't know Artemis yet? Here's a good place to start https://artemis.co.nz/2500-years-plant-wisdom/

Contract Marketing Manager

British Telecom'S Genie And Alta Vista

London, United Kingdom

More dream marketing roles which I was invited to take up ...as part of a small incubation unit sitting outside of BT, we launched mobile internet services to the UK market when WAP and SMS were unheard of. This was a game changing project to work on and a mass consumer market to reach, to stay ahead of the competition. No soft launches here. Time frames were short, budgets were large and the people I worked with were talented, driven and at the top of their game. What's not to love? I was then asked to join Alta Vista internet as European Marketing Manager before leaving the UK for NZ....
