As a partner in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, I litigate a wide variety of disputes in California state and federal courts, including matters involving general business and corporate control concerns, issues impacting higher education, real estate and finance issues (FDCPA, Rosenthal Act, FCRA, etc.), and consumer protection/unfair business & competition claims. In addition, I counsel national companies and businesses with their labor and employment disputes based on racial, gender and age discrimination, retaliation and harassment and defend them in wrongful termination actions. My clients include higher education institutions, major financial institutions and servicers, major petroleum companies, telecommunications carriers, and other retail companies and consumer businesses. I am dedicated to helping women and diverse attorneys achieve their goals through the firm's mentoring, coaching, and diversity initiatives. Each year, I participate in events held by the Corporate Counsel Women of Color and the California Minority Counsel Program and often present on issues impacting the development of diverse attorneys. Throughout my legal career, I have provided pro bono services to organizations focused on assisting women and children victims of domestic violence and am currently serving on the board for the Center for the Pacific Asian Family.
