Debbie made her living as a professional actress for over 35 years. She co-wrote the book "The Aspiring Actor's Handbook" published in 2014 with Molly Cheek and published by Bettie Youngs Books. Debbie is the West Coast writer/editor/producer and the third tomato for The Three Tomatoes website, "A Lifestyle Guide for Women Who Aren't Kids" and their weekly newsletters. Debbie's "Welcome To LA...Life, Tomato Style" is a weekly e-newsletter for The Three Tomatoes. Debbie co-produced the blog talk show "Tomatoes in the Trenches" with The Three Tomatoes that ran for 4 years. Debbie co-founded the for-profit production company In the Trenches Productions where she spearheaded the creation and development of the ITTPTV Website and produced too many short films to mention here. As President of the non-profit activist organization Actresses@Work she led the fight against ageism for women in show biz. Debbie Zipp, the actress, is probably best known for her recurring lead role as 'Donna' on the "Murder She Wrote" the CBS series starring Angela Lansbury as well as her principal roles in over 300 national television commercials. She's had lead series regular roles in the television series pilots "The Cheerleaders" and "There's Always Room. " She also starred with Darren McGavin in the TV series "Small and Frye" for Disney as well as starring in many LA Stage Productions. Guest star roles included: "Magnum PI", "Paper Chase", "LA Law", "New Love American Style", "One Day At A Time", "Gilmore Girls" and "Malcolm in the Middle" and she appeared in such films as "Like Father Like Son" and "Double Exposure".
