I got my start as an enterprising reporter and bureau chief and managed marketing and media relations for the Pan American Games. I’ve managed and led strategic initiatives, communications, reputation, and change through large-scale transformations in entrepreneurial organizations, utility, student loan and health care sectors that include an IPO and M&A activity. As higher education experiences significant challenges, I bring innovation, problem solving, and lead change, strategic initiatives, and new programs at the nation's largest medical school to ensure current and future doctors are well prepared. I’ve led civic engagements to grow a musical world championships, and to double the largest volunteer network fighting childhood obesity.
