Self-Love Basecamp is both a community and a repository of lessons, meditations, videos, worksheets and everything else related to self-love and living our lives true to ourselves. I'm passionate about making self-love and authentic living practical, accessible and actionable so that we can not just think it's a good idea, but also we can put it into practice in our lives. Self-Love Basecamp is a paid and private membership group for women in the mid-life transition period of their lives who are sick of living according to other's expectations and are committed to doing the inner work of learning to love themselves and show up authentically. I help them to journey from their head to their heart and to awaken to all of who they are. Through self-love, inner child, reparenting and shadow work, we reveal all of the lost, disowned and exiled parts of themselves and integrate them into wholeness so they can live the second half of their lives with vitality, authenticity and well-being.

Redwood Parents Connect (RPC) is a parent-led, community-based program co-founded by Vickie Vann and Deb Blum. Currently we have over 800 members, 21 facilitators, 4 Facebook Groups and run over 70 discussion groups per year with hundreds of parents. This program has expanded to the two other high schools in our school district.http://redwoodparentsconnect.comIt's made up of parents of 8th through 12th graders who are either attending Redwood High School or will be the following year. RPC includes a closed Facebook forum for the parents of your student's class year (such as "Class of 2020"), as well as in-person parent discussion groups, which are also organized by class year. Just as your student will be part of the same class for four years, your Redwood Parents Connect group will stay together through the four years of high school (and beyond!).We're located in in Larkspur California in Marin County about 10 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. IS Planning / Strategy* Led the Health System effort to establish the organization’s eHealth (Internet) strategy. Key member of the eHealth Steering Committee, led by the CEO. Developed the Capital and Operating Budgets and negotiated the Application Service Provider (ASP) contract with the chosen vendor.* Responsible for developing standards for project management, project status reporting, and project plan development. * Supported the CIO in all planning initiatives, including new system selections, vendor evaluations, budget planning and monitoring, departmental progress reporting, performance metrics, organizational planning, IS Strategic Planning, and more.* Responsible for the Information Systems’ annual departmental business plan.* Responsible for review and negotiations of all Information Systems’ contracts.* Responsible for the planning related to HIPAA (privacy, security, and EDI) for the Health System: organizational structure, evaluation of HIPAA Assessment vendors, budget planning, and education. Web Development* Responsible for the success of all eHealth initiatives. Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the Webtrends Web Statistical Reporting tool.* Developed a web-based Executive Scorecard for key corporate metrics.* Actively managed the design and development of the system-wide intranet, including the development of and compliance with Intranet Design Standards and Guidelines. * Managed all efforts related to porting the hospital’s public web site from an Apache server to a Windows NT 4.0 environment.

* Account Manager for up to 20 consultants at Yale New Haven Health System. Wrote all performance evaluations, handled salary increases, and managed performance issues. Mentored and developed consultants performing work in such areas as MS Access application development, Y2K system testing, web development, contingency planning, and clinical information systems implementations. Also responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, marketing, and other administrative functions. * Worked with HR to develop an aggressive recruiting process to recruit 23 open positions. Actively involved in hiring all managers and directors. Wrote position descriptions for all Management, PMO, and Director positions in the IS Department.* Concurrently was a consultant working on large-scale project implementations at Yale-New Haven Health System.

* For Western Massachusetts’ largest health system, worked with the CIO/Vice President of IS on all strategic planning initiatives including long-term budget planning, departmental reorganizations, cost-reduction strategies, and system-wide strategic planning. Led the capital and operating budget development process. Worked with the IS Management Team in budget reduction efforts.* Lead team member on a Program Management Office (PMO) implementation team.* Worked with 11 physician practices, affiliates of a large health system, in a process redesign project.* Lead analyst on various needs assessments and packaged software selections.* Business Analyst in all phases of the software development life cycle, with a particular focus on current and future state analysis and requirements definition.* Lead Project Manager for a $1.2 Million systems implementation project. Project included the implementation of IDXrad (Radiology Clinical and Scheduling System) and Health Information Systems’ AdvantX (Patient Accounting – Registration and Billing System) for five Radiology Sites as well as a Recovery Care Center. Implemented barcode technology for patient tracking. Analyzed and documented all requirements for the new systems and facilitated workflow design sessions. Despite persistent changing priorities, corporate changes in direction, and acquisitions, the project was successfully completed on time and on budget.* For Western Massachusetts’ largest health system, independently managed all Information Systems aspects of a new building project – a 100,000 square foot Ambulatory Care Center. Managed a team of 10 dedicated information systems professionals in the acquisition and installation of $1 Million of IT equipment and the cabling of 550 network and telephone jacks, analysis of 15 departments’ user needs, coordination of training, and the implementation of 10 automatic call distribution (ACD) systems. This project was completed on time and under budget.

Independently opened a branch office for a large consulting firm including hiring and managing administrative staff and consultants, selecting office space, opening new accounts, and managing the profitability of the office. As a consultant, I worked in many roles in Information Systems and Business - project management, process improvement, mentoring, training, business analysis, etc.
