Deb is a Professor in the Paralegal Program at Manchester Community College. She graduated from Marist College with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Legal Studies. Deb attended the University of Connecticut, receiving her Masters Degree in Adult Education with honors in 2000. She worked as a practicing paralegal in the Greater Hartford area for 17 years in corporate and law firm settings as well as performing freelance work. Deb was the Program Manager and taught for many years in the Paralegal Studies Program at the University of Hartford. Deb’s teaching has included courses in Legal Ethics, Introduction to Law, Business Law, Title Searching, Technology, Civil Litigation and Career Advancement. She has also run the paralegal internship programs at Manchester Community College and the University of Hartford. Earning PACE Registered Paralegal designation in May, 1999 and formerly the PACE Ambassador for CCPA, she is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Paralegal Committee and the American Association for Paralegal Educators. She has presented seminars before various organizations, including the CT Alliance of Paralegal Associations, CCPA, CBA, Association of Corporate Counsel and the Association for Paralegal Educators. Deb has authored various articles which have been published both locally and nationally.
