This position has a functional relationship with the Head of Child Rights & Youth Governance and Head of SRHR at Country Office and project staff of implementing partner organization. Support to develop project implementation, developing training manual, building the capacity of the partner staff, lobby-advocacy with relevant ministries.

Dimension fo the Role : Lead Project which is implemented in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal; Partner Management; Resource Mobilization; Participatory Action Research; Proposal Development; Manual Development; Campaign; Training; Capacity Development; Curriculum Development, and Monitoring & Evaluation.Responsibilities:• Lead Child Rights Programming with a focus on SRHR. • Develop Child Protection, SRHR, and Gender training Manual. • Responsible to capacitate partner staff on gender responsive child protection programming. • Coordinate and work with the Department of Social work, VidyaSagar University, Kolkata on Child Protection programming issues. • Conduct a study on the status of Child Rights Programming special focus on ASRHR and the understanding of development professionals on the issues in India. • Facilitate TOT training on ASRHR, Child Protection and Gender issues to capacitate CSOs. • Design, develop, and facilitate documentation skill development training for CSOs. • Lead the project titled “Promoting Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights through Exchange Expertise Project”.• Conduct several campaigns on child protection issues. • Design and drive capacity building and partnership strategy to make a visible change in knowledge, practice, and policy level. • Represent different International Child Protection Networks.

Dimension of the Role:Lead program management team; Resource mobilization and network management; Conduct action researches; Donor management; Monitoring, Communication with media, policymakers, and partners; Represent in national and global forums; Program design and proposal development; Advocacy.Key Responsibilities:• Lead the “ Monitoring Child Rights Situation in Bangladesh project”. • Develop Universal Periodic Report (UPR) on Child Protection issues in Bangladesh. • Represent different Networks such as Child Rights Advocacy Coalition- (CRAC) Bangladesh, Joining Forces – Child Rights Now platform, Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum, National Girls Child Forum, Bangladesh ECD Network, Campaign for Popular Education(CAMPE), Citizens Platform on SDG, Education Cluster etc. • Organize Consultation meeting on UPR report review. • Lead Advocacy and Campaign program for National Commission for the Rights of Children. • Lead sector specific gender mainstreaming design, scale-up plans and methodologies to achieve Gender Equality and Adolescent & Youth Empowerment programmatic goals. • Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the donor and the field staff. • Develop Adolescent Reproductive health and Rights Training manual.• Develop capacity to the organizational staff. • Conduct TOT Training. • Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor organization. • Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes. • Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to the donor.
