In my role as senior travel consultant I was responsible for travel arrangements, national and international, including quotes, travel bookings (air – commercial and charter, rail, accommodation, airport transfers, restaurant bookings, ESTA, car hire, travel insurance, team building events, package tours, excess baggage arrangements, wheelchair assistance, bassinet arrangements), issuing tickets, reissues & revalidations, after hours and weekend assistance (24/7/365).I dealt with a range of people at my client companies including event organisers, trainers, students, PA’s and MDs, COOs, GMs, and other demanding corporate travellers. A number of my clients were expats working in South Africa and Namibia on contract.
