This hotel works with all hospitals in Little Rock due to the fact that our guests have some form of cancer. Guests range in all ages. To accommodate guest by registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys or cards, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests' accounts, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests.

Was VERY EXCITED when I started working with the Lt. Governor's Office. It was a very small office and the main thing I did was to answer the phone.THEN, I was priviledged to move into the role of Boards & Commissions when moving into the Governor's Office.The Governor is responsible for appointing members to approximately 350 boards and commissions in the State and seeks the most qualified candidates for these appointed positions. After an application was submitted, I was responsible in calling each candidate on the Governor's list and ask questions regarding what was submitted on their application.

I provided guidance to the employees, and helped with the hiring and firing. I provided benefit information, tracked performance reviews and guidance reports, I traveled, when needed, to help when employees were ready to retire with necessary paperwork. Did 200 timesheets each Monday for payroll. Also helped with personal problems by giving the employee their options. I was responsible for wage increases, tracking the number of days sick, vacation, etc.

Was privileged to work for Frank White, Lou Siegel and George McLeod. I earned an Associate Degree in Business while working at Merrill Lynch. I was responsible for managing the their daily calendars of meetings, screening his or her phone calls, assisting with correspondence, business proposals or presentations, making travel reservations, and other basic office tasks. Working at Merrill Lynch was very fast paced and very exciting.
