I work with adults through a trauma informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens. I enjoy helping people use any of their interests and hobbies as tools to navigate challenges such as depression, relationship issues, burnout, or anxiety. I specialize in trauma and do EMDR.My approach is both educational and relational. I provide weekly emotional support for the stressors in life, and I teach clients emotional regulation skills, boundaries, self compassion, mindfulness, and creative expression. Prior to being a therapist, I had many years experience organizing large events, fostering community, and teaching classes in the arts non-profit sector. And prior to that, I was a cook in whole food types of kitchens, such as vegetarian restaurants and co-ops. All along the way I've also enjoyed creating art, poetry, and electronic music as a personal hobby.
