I hold a BCom degree and have digitised over 30 businesses, growing their customer bases through optimising user experience and digital on-boarding as well as streamlining their internal digital processes and adding additional revenue streams.After more than a decade of experience I enjoy being an active team member from strategy through to execution. I am a fire-starter and excel in transforming businesses via their digital transformation strategies - executing these changes through direct management of their marketing, technology and operations teams.After completing a BCom (Economics and Business Administration) I cut my teeth in direct marketing and sales for ABSA and Standard Bank before heading off to London. After a brief stint at CNN in their online department I joined SBC Warburg (now Dillon Warburg) as Business Manager for their IT department. An innocuous meeting with a visiting director from the US led me to San Francisco and the offices of Next Computing and opened the doors to my passion of online tinkering and mastery. I then returned to South Africa and joined the "start-up" content hub – www.iafrica.com. Having been part of the team who designed and implemented the iafrica CMS, held the titles of Operations Director and General Manager of iafrica.com (Primedia Online), I then took on the role of Owner / General Manager at Private Label Web Solutions - a digital design and development company extraordinaire. This role included management of all aspects of the business from operations, HR, marketing, client liaison and overall project planning and implementation. Optimisation of efficiencies and cost optimisation while maintaining the highest client experience and world-class product offerings made this role both challenging but wildly satisfying.In 2021 I sold the agency - Private Label - and among other digital consultant roles I also took on the role of Digital Client Service Director at TBWA South Africa for the SPAR retail account.
