For three years, I was The Tennessean's business editor leading a team of 7 reporters who covered health care, finance, retail, real estate, government economic development, general business news and the markets. Wrote an Executive Q&A for Sunday editions, interviewing local executives and CEOs. Planned and coordinated content with news and features departments, and collaborated with design, web and marketing teams.

Led a newsroom staff of 75. Developed news / editorial content strategy. Won Best Medium/Small Market Daily from Dallas Press Club, 2001, 2002, 2003
