A wide-ranging role, which developed greatly over time as a result of a professional approach to the role and the development of the business. Main duties included:• PA to two of the partners of the company and one manager – dealing with clients in their absence, managing diaries and associated secretarial/administrative duties.• Administrator – the evaluation, development and maintenance of company databases (relating to clients and project). Ensuring other staff members are up to date with the procedures associated with these databases.• Secretarial support – preparing proposals, reports, graphic models and presentations.• Responsible for maintaining the company accountancy systems – handling all related tasks, including generating Purchase and Sales invoices, Order Intake.• Office management – ensuring all equipment is maintained and that stationery supplies are well stocked. Ensuring that the company achieves the most cost effective supplies through negotiation with suppliers.• Project/team support – offering administrative assistance to other partners, department managers and consultants. This includes assistance with travel arrangements, fielding queries from both field staff and clients, providing an additional W.P. support.• Receptionist – handling and directing all incoming queries to the company, both over the telephone and with visitors.• Supervision & Training of the Administration Staff – delegating and explaining work, ensuring standards of work are maintained in line with customer needs.
