Information Resource Specialist
Current• Create marketing materials, websites and other media. This includes marketing posters, flyers, brochures, and promotional items; electronic newsletters; scientific presentation posters; and other printed materials as requested by faculty and staff;• Adapt elements of designs created by staff or faculty, such as the figures, photographs and other components for web or printed designs;• Provide copywriting and proofreading editorial assistance for faculty and staff as requested. Also provide photography and videography services as needed;• Manage Landon Center on Aging web presence, with continuing training on current University web development software updates and changes;• Create, build and maintain social media presence for the Landon Center on Aging, including continuing awareness of new channels and trends, while following University social media guidelines;• Plan and facilitate Landon Center on Aging community outreach special programs, fund raisers and outings; produce and distribute weekly e-newsletter; and annual photo contest;• Provide assistance to researchers with grant preparation and research activities; • Aid in administrative functions, such as various research projects, travel arrangements, reimbursement and purchasing. Additionally, organized Continuing Medical Education lecture series (2005-2009) and scheduled Geriatrics rotation for Internal Medicine Residents (July 2016 - July 2018).
