About Debi Gilbert

I am a learning mentor to young people who aren't in mainstream education. I work with children with behavioural, mental health and other issues that prevent them from taking part in 'normal' classes. Some include children with anxiety issues, ADHD, autism, ASD, PDD and general behavioural problems. I love my job although it is hard sometimes. I am also a governor at The Manor Academy and a member of The Parent Forum there too. I fully believe that if parents invest time in their child's education then that child will engage fully with school and their learning will improve.Oh! I also love coffee!!!
