My art is all about exploration – searching for those basic common truths. In my attempt to find these, I must look anew at every aspect of my life – why I do the things I do. I test them, and push the boundaries of my actions in order to discover what is “real” for me, and that which is “false”. Often it is like trying to find food allergy – stop eating but the most basic foods, and one by one – test, taste and experience each new food item as you allow it back into your diet. I have started my research through art with the most basic of foods – sex and my sexuality. Slowly I am adding a few additions such as fear, speech, age, obsession. I invite you to explore with me, your own inner truths. Question, question and then question some more. I think it is in the questions and not the answers that we find our personal stories.
