Oversight and organization of 5 SEs as well as coding as needed for modification of 200+ code modules for a Progress relational database. • Assisted in mapping and functionality on a conversion project of 40,000 term life policies to our system which was accomplished with a short project timeline. • Led a project to convert existing policy pages for all 50 states from an in-house system to a vendor’s system in one month. Assisted business analysts with mapping and formatting as well as creating data extracts.

Analyzed COBOL code for Y2K changes and setup MVS JCL for systems that interface with The Administrator system with a CDS check writing system, a payroll deduction system, and electronic fund transfers. Solved production problems in those systems. Worked with a team to create policy print where forms are created on the PC and stored on the mainframe in a database.

Client contact for requirements and training; developing code in COBOL for data conversion and extraction, earnings allocation, tax, and vesting calculations for Benefits administration; documentation of programming procedures; 7 level agent compensation system written in COBOL; contract maintenance subsystem that combined SQL tables, mainframe screens, and OPTIKA image database.
