.…After completion of 5 years B.Arch course in India I worked as Junior Architect at Kolkata. Then in order to enhance my knowledgebase I went to Germany for M.Arch (M.Sc as they call it) course. I completed 2 years M.Sc (Research based) in Urban Design—Revitalization of Historic city Districts from BTU in Cottbus, Germany jointly with Alexandria university Egypt (dual degree program). For my final year thesis in Urban Design, I had chance to work on Berlin city in Germany. My software skills include AutoCAD, Sketchup, V- Ray sketch up, Blender, Lumion, Keyshot and Adobe Photoshop and MS office. On account of my passion, I am also good at hand sketching and photography. In addition to a six months internship, I have two years of work experience in developing sketches, concept diagrams and visualizations. I am a self-taught artist and have been passionate about creating life like reproduction of subjects that I found interesting through sketching and painting. The source of inspiration was Disney’s hand animated films of the 90s. During high school and architecture school days, I was often tasked to create poster designs and custom portraits of famous names of the industry. This later developed into a need for a deeper understanding of different materials-organic and inorganic and how elements of nature affect these surfaces or materials. Then with the introduction of 3D visualization software coupled with the knowledge of photography, the possibilities of exploring the causes behind the natural phenomena increased and I have been working on trying to develop my understanding ever since.
