I launched our Family Office practice in Regions West. This involved selecting a team and developing our strategic plan. I worked in the local Edmonton community to showcase KPMG's service offerings in the Family Office arena. We can be your family office, support your family office or be a combination of the two. Led a transformation of KPMG's back office (corporate services) to develop standardized and centralized processes to improve efficiency of our billing, risk management and financial statement processing operations. This involved adopting a change mindset and leading a change management team across Western Canada. Results included creating new roles for team members and an improvement in collections and reduction of processing times in several key operational areas.

I led a fee-for-service personal financial planning practice from 1994 - 1999 providing independent financial and tax advice to individuals in addition to estate planning and retirement planning. That practice grew into a KPMG Enterprise practice where I provided tax advice to private companies and their owners as well as high-net worth individuals.
