It Project ManagerDelta Air Lines Contracted Through Ambient Consulting, Inc Nov 2009 - Apr 2020I have been contracting at Delta Airlines for the past 10 years. I'm currently a Delivery Manager for the Delta Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Ancillary Services Kanban Team. I am heading up a team of Business Analysts, Developers, and Quality Assurance personnel who specialize in the Ancillary SOA Services. I've been in this role since 2016. The environment is incredibly complex and leverages the Agile style of software development for the entire product life cycle from requirements through production release. The ancillary services affect many different portfolios such has the Delta.com Website, Reservations, Online Check-in, Airport Kiosk, Cancelled Flights, Schedule Changes, etc. I've also been a project manager in the IT PMO PM group where I specialized in project management of the high value projects focused around the Ancillary Product Sales specializing in the sale of Seat upgrades. The projects required coordination across all of the portfolios at Delta and also coordinating with Deltas external airline partners, such as Air France and KLM so that they could also sell the ancillary products. My initial role at Delta was as an IT PMO QA where I was hired as a Cross Functional QA Lead. My role consisted of Program Manager for the Testing across 9 cross functional projects consumed by all of the 23 various portfolios at Delta.
