I am an architect. Not like those brilliant folks who turn an empty field into a magical structure that invite one in to poke around, explore, and settle in. Well, maybe I am a little bit like them.Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to be in positions that allow me to turn a blank sheet into ideas that take shape and invite people to poke around, explore and buy. I am energized when I can facilitate an unbreakable connection between an amazing product or service and the people who want or need that product or service. It is even more fun watching those buyers come to the realization that they can’t live without whatever it is they are buying. The underlying foundation of all successful businesses is delivering a product or service that delights your customer. It takes them on a journey of discovery and guides them down the path towards needs met and results delivered, and then some. It is that “and then some” part that creates evangelists who become the best sales team a company could ask for. I lead organizations toward nirvana by helping to design products, strategies, deliverables and messages that are engaging, compelling and often irresistible. Along the way, we build and inspire great teams who love what they do, foster authentic and dynamic cultures, figure out innovative ways to tackle complex problems, raise money, create technologies, secure patents, shape competitive landscapes, and have some fun. I love to work on behalf of people who have had it with the status quo, whether they are healthcare patients, consumers, businesses, innovators, investors, and old dogs looking for new tricks. And I love doing that with organizations that are passionate about doing the right thing for their customers, their people, their stakeholders, and their community.
