Leader of an organization committed to our members (800 plus) and growing the 21 communities we serve in the Bangor, Maine region. Manage a staff of 5 full-time employees and many volunteers, and work with an active Board of Directors. Responsibilities include managing the fiscal health of the organization, human resources, public relations, event planning and implementation, member recruitment and retention, Board and volunteer recruitment and management, working with community partners, economic development and anything else that comes up in the course of a day!

I launched "My Maine Gardens" to celebrate and showcase gardens, gardening, growers and Maine! I visit and interview growers, gardening experts and producers. I share my own gardening lessons and tips and take my audience on road trips! I shoot, edit, produce and promote videos on YouTube and social channels, mostly Facebook to a growing audience and host a TV segment on WABI TV in Bangor, Maine.

Appointed to the current administration to work on efforts to grow businesses and jobs in Maine. Developed a team of Governors Account Executives who work with businesses to determine their needs and find solutions. Worked to put systems in place to make State Government more "user friendly" for businesses. Worked closely with the Governors office on issues related to improving Maine's business climate and telling the stories of business success in Maine.

Managed an incubator for early stage technology based businesses. Providing these companies with the resources, expertise and support they need to become successful. Worked with UMaine students and faculty interested in pursing entrepreneurship through the University's Foster Student Innovation Center.
