As a fellow at the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Hague, my work entailed assisting in administering commercial and investor-state arbitrations.

As a Senior Associate in the firm, I drafted court processes and legal opinions. I conducted trials and argued contentious applications.Notable representative matters include: i) Member of a team that successfully represented an international oil company(IOC) in an ICC Arbitration worth US$248m for alleged breach of a Gas Processing Agreement;ii) Member of a team that represented a group of IOCs in a dispute relating to the effort of the government to increase its’ share of revenue under the various Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs);iii) Member of a team that represented one of the leading multinational brewers in respect of an ad hoc arbitration which arose out of one of the country’s earliest contract canning agreements;iv)Member of a team that successfully represented a Norwegian multinational oil multinational in a multi-billion naira dispute with arose out of an alleged breach of a Net Profit Interest Agreement;v) Member of a team that advised and provided representation to a leading multinational firm of consulting engineers in respect of an action for interference with the construction contract for the nation’s busiest inter state highway; andvi) Member of a team that successfully resisted an attempt to enforce an arbitral award by means of a winding-up action at the Federal High Court.
