About Casper De Boer
Post-doctoral researcher with a broad training background in Biomedical Engineering (BSc), Movement Sciences (MSc) and Neurosciences (PhD). My focus is on clinically translational research in the area of sensorimotor integration, i.e. how the human brain processes sensory information and uses this to guide goal-directed motor actions. I have ample experience with several research methods in humans including eye tracking, motion detection analysis, neuropsychological assessment, evaluation of motor skills and (functional) MRI. Throughout my career, I have worked with a variety of study populations including neurodegenerative patients (Alzheimer, Parkinson), elite athletes (Beach volleyball, Baseball), and healthy subjects in a wide age range.
