"Any darn fool can make something complex; it takes a genius to make something simple" - Albert Einstein. Design is everywhere, and it is the task of the product designers to make it simple. Simplicity is the key here to make the design user-friendly. My name is Deboleena, and I love to design products for users, to make their life simpler and easier to work on. I have a solid educational background- I am a Computer Science and Technology Postgraduate from the Vellore Institute of Technology, India. I hold a postgraduate UI/UX Design and Human-Computer Interaction certification from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) and Monash University, Australia. Before taking some time off to raise my kids, I used to work as an associate for famous firms. Out of interest, I added a feather to my cap during my post-graduation by publishing a chapter in Springer on the Social Internet of Things. I had also delivered a few papers on the same subject that were eventually published in various journals. Being a mother, I have developed into a self-motivated team player who is adept at multitasking and has a positive outlook on juggling competing commitments. I squeezed in time while balancing my motherly responsibilities to finish a few more UI/UX certificate courses. Due to my aptitude for design and my love of creativity, I have taken advantage of any spare time to advance my knowledge of UI/UX. My colleagues can categorically refer to me as a learner. Now that I've decided to relaunch my career and rejoin the workforce, I'm ready and excited to work as a designer and add value by collaborating with design teams to convert consumer needs into visual ideas. I am passionate about improving human-computer interaction because it makes consumer experiences more user-friendly. Working as a user experience designer will allow me to restart my career. While I'm still at the company, I may hone my design abilities to explore other areas of design.
