Defined and implemented an enterprise technology governance function supporting minimum standards for application life cycle and technology architecture. • Worked across CIO teams and control functions (information security, recovery, data management, vendor management, product management) to drive process improvement and consistency in the application management function and standard alignment to architecture platforms and products. • Developed the company’s first Application Management policy and standards, Technology Architecture policy and standards, and assumed responsibility for the FOSS Policy. Responsible for ongoing policy maintenance, education, and governance across the enterprise. • Implemented a control intake process that benefitted control organizations and application managers by creating a consistent process for engaging application teams and preventing unnecessary work by 10,000 hours on average per quarter. Collaborated with CISO teams to prioritize requirements which resulted in improved compliance to security programs. • As product owner of the enterprise Application Inventory, proactively migrated to an agile methodology to improve delivery of new features benefitting application managers. Releases increased from twice annual to 6 releases per year. Improved data quality resulted. • As the Data Steward Executive (DSE) for our Application inventory, significantly improved the data quality through the implementation of challenge processes. Control functions were able to rely on the data and routines developed were leveraged by other DSE’s to improve data quality.
