About Debora Di Centa
I have the skills to interlace new working collaborations with varied companies, theatres, Institutions and other artists within the performing field, and to collaborate in varied dance works both as performer and choreographer. I also offer my professional experience for varied workshops for dance-artists, companies and in dance schools. I can present my own choreographic works and choreograph on demand for varied types of events. Besides performing in theaters, I am specifically interested on site-specific performances for open-spaces, art galleries, museums and any ‘informal’ site. In my profession I also deliver community-dance workshops for non dancers of every age, moreover for specific corporate delivery convention workshops.My approach to dance and performance is based on the theoretical and practical use of the concepts of Choreological Studies, which are the contemporary developments in Rudolf Laban’s Principles and Practice.I decisively believe that engaging with different organizations will offer mutual enormous benefits and for me especially the chance to grow and continue my research within the performing, choreographic and teaching fields and the possibility to develop my competences and skills.
