I complete innovative research on fungi and their applications to bioinspiration

I worked with a professor who specializes in biomechanical engineering. I worked on a project funded by Merit Medical to create a novel design for a coronary stent. This includes designing and carrying out testing and reporting on the research in a Biomedical Conference.

I worked on a project testing various materials to validate manufacturing processes, resulting in a new customer contract worth $46 million. I designed and performed tests for various products to ensure customer specifications were met, wrote reports analyzing test results, and collaborated with engineers in Utah and China to release new products.
