Hi! I’m Débs (or Débora) Martini and, currently, I'm Closegap's Product Manager. I’m part of a team that works together to figure out what (and when) to build on our web application so we are positively impacting schools and students in a meaningful way.I work side-by-side with the head of technology, the CEO, and the UX designer. I built and I keep a product roadmap updated, so we all know what we need to discover and deliver next. I have experience working from the high level, connecting companies' OKRs with the product roadmap, to the granular level, in which I act on product discovery, PRD writing, ticket details, and release plans. I always use agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.Besides that, I'm used to tools such as Figma, Jira, Github, Metabase, and Miro. I appreciate a culture that understands how important diversity and inclusion are for innovation and how important it is to implement positive social impact in the world.I'm communicative. I like to take things lightly. The best way for me to improve is to talk and mainly listen. I like to celebrate! Always and a lot. Without it, life turns a little boring.I'm also always studying whatever makes sense to help me perform better and align with my goals, such as lean inception, digital product strategy, EdTech tools market, continuous discovery, UX, leadership, ESG, and more.My management skills and agile mindset started in a previous job in a completely different line of work. After motherhood, it evolved into a managing skill that only moms understand. With 2 kids, I like having fun and spending time together with family and friends. I like to read, meditate, and travel when possible.
