I manage several GDPR compliance projects both at national and international level, and I have intensive expertise, among the others, on multi-jurisdictional relational marketing projects; online targeting; data protection compliance projects; international data transfers; counseling on processing of sensitive, medical and genetic data, also in the context of clinical trials; implementation of IT solutions involving, in various ways, the use of personal data; use of biometrics; issues related to the implementation of whistleblowing programs; geolocation projects; implementation of parental control solutions, and innovative technology solutions in the automotive sector; contracts for the transfer of databases; data protection related issues in the IoT; contentious matters. As part of my assistance in the new technologies law I help the clients also in drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT-related contracts (eg. License agreements, maintenance, consultancy, outsourcing contracts, and cloud computing), service contracts and distribution, as well as advice relating to legal issues related to the Internet and e-commerce.As data protection expert I am a member in a number of projects on cloud computing dealing with data protection compliance as one of their key factors and goals:- Coco Cloud (http://www.coco-cloud.eu/): this is a project, funded under the EU 7th Framework Programme (FP7), that aims at improving the trust of the cloud users allowing them to securely and privately share their data in the cloud, based on confidential and compliant cloud computing services;- SLALOM (http://slalom-project.eu/): this is a project, funded under the EU Horizon 2020 Programme, for support action tackling the complexity of cloud computing SLAs and contracts through standardisation of the SLAs and contract terms, and offering a reference model for SLA management.
