I am a private practice therapist and Qualified Supervisor to Florida MFT and MHC Interns. My current specialties are women who are on a journey of self-knowledge and/or recovering from abusive relationships (including narcissistic abuse) and childhood neglect/abuse, adolescents/young adults, co-parenting and supporting women and men through divorce. I also help couples learn to how to relate safely and authentically with one another regardless of past wounding and gain greater understanding and compassion of their mate through the lens of attachment. I have 20 years of varied experience as a therapist working in California, New York and Florida including working with kids and teachers in schools, inpatient treatment with teens, court-mandated batterers treatment, court-mandated addiction treatment, acupuncture detox protocol, and inpatient. I have given presentations on how to be trauma informed and healing from trauma, mindfulness, teens and stress, motivational interviewing, parenting and social skills for kids. In 2018, in memory of a family member who died by suicide, I created and delivered a therapeutic farming retreat for teens. I believe that the work that therapists do is essential and more important than ever. Healing starts from within each individual, spreads to families and reverberates out through communities and to the world.
