Responsible for deselection as well as collection development and cataloging. Purchases all materials, including, books, eBooks, databases, periodicals and related technology. Worked as a Media Specialist (Librarian) for East Middle School in Biscoe, North Carolina. As librarian I was actively involved in providing curriculum support to 6 - 8 level instructors (including ESL, Academically Gifted and Special Needs). I mentored students through creative writing and academic programs. I was extensively involved in Test Administration and extracurricular activities.
