About Deborah Barrett

Deborah brings her background as Director of Community Awareness and Development for the Autism Society of Edmonton Area, and as a board member of Autism Society Alberta to her new job as Director of Anthony at Your Service. Deborah hopes to create and maintain a profitable social enterprise in which her son, a 25 year old low-verbal man with significant autism, can flourish through service to others. As Anthony at Your Service grows, we hope to be able to employ other adults with developmental disabilities in meaningful, paid service to the community.     As President and Owner of Anthony at Your Service, Deborah, along with Mike Hamm and Anthony Barrett, has grown a delivery service for Anthony, who is primarily non-verbal and has significant autism (and the most lovely personality!), from one delivery team to a delivery service that pays 15 men and women with intellectual disabilities to do customized deliveries each month. People with intellectual disabilities are often forgotten and not thought of in the context of business.
