I have 25 years experience teaching special education in public schools. I have taught students with various disabilities and from a variety of socioeconomic statuses. My experience has mostly been in elementary and middle schools in different environments, including self-contained classes, resource programs, and co-taught classes. For the past 3 years I have been the Director of Special Education at a private, non public agency ensuring the district placed student's IEP's were implemented and monitored correctly. I have also mentored instructors and presented several professional development sessions.
