Deborah Bradley began her professional career as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte & Touche in Chicago before moving to New York City in 1990 to obtain an MBA from Columbia University. In 1993, after leaving a corporate job in finance to start a family, she founded Deborah Bradley Construction one block from Columbia University, her first client. Today her company celebrates 30 years of success as a full–service General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and Construction Management Consultant to institutional and educational facilities and public agencies and authorities throughout the five boroughs of New York and beyond.Deborah is an active member of the NYC Building Congress, the Regional Alliance for Small Contractors, and the US Green Building Council. She is Vice President and member of the board of the Women Builders Council, New York, and is on the Executive Board of Women Construction Owners & Executives, National.As a business owner, a resident of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and a proud mother of three, Deborah devotes much of her spare time to helping the community through local organizations. She is committed to teaching and mentoring young women entering the construction industry as well as helping other small M/WBE firms grow and prosper. A noted speaker and business educator, Ms. Bradley has taught classes in Construction Management at Skanska’s CM program for M/WBE firms and participated in Construction Training programs for local youth. She is also a program instructor for the Women Builders Council Educational program; “7 Seminars to Build Your Business”.
